Member & Board Inductions in 2002/2003
We changed meeting venues at the start of 2002/03, as the Windsor Hotel was no longer suitable for our needs. We held a couple of meetings at the Karalee Tavern in Como before settling into the George Burnett Leisure Centre in Karawara.
Our club started the year with 11 members, but ended the year with 7.

Khatiya "Ya" Farrell
Ya was inducted as a member of the Rotaract Club of South Perth in February 2003 by DRR Simone Collins, in President Julia Azzalini's absence. Ya started getting involved with our club in late 2002.
Ya was unable to continue attending Rotaract later in 2003 as his army reserve commitments conflicted with club activities too much.
Matt Mueller
Matt was inducted as an honorary member of the Rotaract Club of South Perth on 13 November 2002 by President Julia Azzalini. Matt was a member of Rotaract back home in Arkansas, USA, before he came to Perth in February 2002 as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.
We first crossed paths with Matt at the Rotary District Conference in March 2002, but his class schedule prevented him from becoming involved with our club until September 2002. We believe he has since become a Rotarian.
Johanne Mills
Johanne was inducted as a member of the Rotaract Club of South Perth on 23 October 2002 by President Julia Azzalini. Johanne first became involved with our club in August 2002.
Johanne served as Community Service Director and Club Service Director for the first half of 2003/04 until health problems prevented her from being able to continue her involvement with Rotaract.
Corrie Hefter
Corrie was inducted as a member of the Rotaract Club of South Perth on 28 August 2002 by President Julia Azzalini. Corrie first became involved with our club in May 2002.
Corrie left the club in 2004. We have heard through the grapevine that she and Matt Mueller married in 2008 - another match made thanks to Rotaract!
